No returns can be accepted for credit unless previously agreed by us and an official Returns Reference has been issued. A charge of 20% of invoice value or a minimum of £10 will be levied on Goods “not wanted” or “incorrectly ordered”, or due to duplication resulting from a “confirmation” order not being endorsed to that effect. We must receive all goods returned under this category, within thirty (30) days of the original invoice date. You will bear all the costs of returning any Goods under this category. All items returned as faulty are liable to manufacturer inspection. We cannot guarantee replacement or credit; a warranty repair may be given.

Not only can we repair any of the moving parts (locks, hinges, letter box and door knockers) but we can also re-glaze/re-panel uPVC doors. Many customers have taken advantage of our cat flap installation or removal service too.

There is no quick answer to this question as it all depends on how the door is constructed. Wooden doors tend to be structurally stronger than uPVC doors but they only lock at one or two points, whereas uPVC doors utilise a multi point locking mechanism that locks in at least three different places simultaneously. In our opinion a good wooden door fitted a multi point mechanism and using a high quality anti-snap cylinder such as the Brisant Ultion would provide a high level of security.

Our store is well stocked with Burg Wachter, Chubb and Yale, Rottner and Burton safes. If you would like to see any of the safes we can supply just pop into our showroom in Potters Bar.

Safe repairs are highly specialised and very specific to the particular model so it is very difficult to quote a price without knowing the exact model and nature of the problem.

Most car keys and remote's can be done in under an half an hour as long as we have a key to work from. Lost keys usually take a little longer but we aim to get most jobs completed in under two hours from the time we arrive.

Our engineers offer an emergency 24 hour service for lost keys or key retrieval from a locked vehicle only. Second keys and remote's are done by appointment only.

Not always. All modern car keys have a small transponder chip which allows the vehicle to start. Our locksmiths are able erase the keys from the keys memory so that any stolen keys will not start the car. Also our car locksmiths are able to re-key the existing locks so that the old keys no longer manually open the car, saving our customers money in the process.

As our car locksmiths are mobile they are able to attend the vehicle to make new keys when all of the keys are lost, unlike the main dealers that will need you get the vehicle to them, change the locks and possibly the cars ECU. This both a time consuming and costly process for customers. We are able to get people back on the road within a fraction of the time and a fraction of the cost of the main dealers. In fact, we have done many lost keys for main dealers too as they recognise the speed and efficiency of our service.

We are able to do a spare car key either at the shop or for a small additional fee we can save you time and come out to you, at a place of your choice, such as home or work and at a time that suits you.

In a word, yes. Anti-snap cylinders can be fitted to any door that uses a euro profile cylinder, this includes uPVC, composite aluminium and wooden doors.

At this time we only take telephone orders for Brisant, ABS, Millenco Magnum and Yale Superior keys to code. We also sell ABS cylinders by phone.
